The customer card, unique in Germany and programmed by the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten (course of studies Business Informatics and E-Business) makes conventional credit card-format discount vouchers obsolete, and offers equivalent functions while providing many additional advantages in comparison to the previous system.
The heart of a “digital customer card” is a 2D code (Quick Response code, abbreviated QR code), which after registration can be
- saved as a bookmark on your mobile phone or
- photographed with your mobile phone and saved as a photo file.
In addition to this, you can view a list of the participating dealers and their offers on the portal.
By presenting the card to one of the participating dealers, you are entitled to take advantage of the benefits granted by them. If you do not have the use of a mobile phone, you may still take part in the system by printing out the QR code of the “digital customer card” and carrying it with you. The dealer “scans” the “digital customer card” with his mobile phone and books the advantages acquired in the system in this manner.
